| Mission Statement and Program & Services | Plymouth Place is a retirement community, based on Christian values, that honors the individual’s right to experience life to the fullest. Plymouth Place believes in the dignity and worth of each individual and the need to retain one’s own personal identity and independence. Plymouth Place is dedicated to providing a gracious environment on campus for individuals in their retirement years, as well as meeting the needs of the aging in the community at large. PROGRAMS AND SERVICES: Plymouth Place is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit life care retirement community located on La Grange Road near downtown La Grange. As part of continuing campus enhancements, The New Plymouth Place – a full-service continuum of care redevelopment – opened in October of 2007. The 500,000-square-foot retirement community includes 55 cottages, 182 independent living apartment homes, 52 catered living residences, 26 memory support suites, and 86 short-term and long-term skilled nursing suites. The community features a life care benefit, which guarantees priority access to catered living, skilled nursing care and memory support at stabilized costs, if ever needed. |
